The goal is to create a series production system inspired in Andy Warhol’s methodology and ideology. The accident to make the results different from each other must be included in this system.
The customer should feel that despite the series production of the item, when paying attention, every plate is different and was made unique and unrepeatable.
It has to do with Warhol’s techniques (serigraphy, blotted line...), as it is the referring method to follow.
This Respect Plate must have a wide diameter size, enough to contain other dishes placed in its center. Furthermore, the textures are only to apply inside the frame of the dish so the surface of the center stay smoothening.
Choosing ceramic to obtain a strong contrast in between the industrial concept of the series production and the traditional one, a junction of elements which usually are far from each other to become a series of dishes.
All this dishes are made
in the same way. With the same tools. With the same method.

# To lay a plate on the molding. This is the first step to determinate where the center of the dish will be situated.
# To cut the dish to the desired measurement of 42 cm of radius.
# The rollers and the way the impressing is made will also contribute in the final guise, because of the irregular thickness that makes them different as well as the decorative aspect.
# The ceramics shiny coating (glaze). In this phase of the proceedings, no one can presume how the final pieces will be, so, the result only can be seen at the end.
# The last firing at high temperature.
